Interesting concept..

Last Sunday morning while surfing through the channels of my TV, I got stuck on the CBC Morning News. They were doing a report on an American Minister who started a movement to eliminate complaining. It's something we all do from time to time, some more than others, sometimes we think we have a legit reason to complain, and I am sure we do, but complaining comes with such a negative connotation. There is a different between complaining, making a statement and even venting, and mostly it is just in the tone of one's voice and the words we choose. Well this minister handed out rubber bracelets ( with the words "Complaint free World") at one of this Sunday sermons, he encouraged people to wear them for 21 days, with the idea that you put it on one wrist and every time you hear yourself complain about something you would switch it over to the other wrist, just to bring awareness of how much you really complain during one day.
Your thoughts create your world, and your words reflect your thoughts. Eliminating complaining makes your life much happier. Complaining creates a lot of negativity, so you create a lot of your own negativity in life by complaining, especially about things you have no control over and are out of your hand to change.

If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain. ( Maya Angelou)
