Ahhhh just what we need........

Today I spend 4 1/2 hours with my son in the waiting room of a walking clinic. When we first got there it didn't look that busy and he was number 11 but as the minutes turned into 1/2 hours and then hours we knew we were in for the longhaul. After finally seeing the doctor he was sent for xrays on his left foot, which was swollen and purple. The day before he took a tumble down the stairs in the house and banged up the side of his foot. Well the xrays showed that he had fractured the side bone of his foot and an appointment was made for him to visit the Fracture clinic at the General Hospital on Friday. It's funny to see that he is mad about going to miss work for a while, especially so close before Christmas when it's really busy at the restaurant and he could get some decent hours to work. Oh well health is still more important than money no matter what. Without health you got nothing ... really.
