Doing the happy dance!

It's been a great week and I have accomplished a few things on the personal level that I am very happy about. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted of my shoulders and now I can get back to me, be me, the way I am, the way I know people like me and not have to think twice about the things I want to do for others. Nothing is more gratifying to me to know that I have made somebody's day with a random act of kindness, giving some needed support to a friend in need or just encouraging somebody to try something new and different. The smiles on their faces and the twinkle in their eyes means more than anything money can ever pay for. It's good to enjoy doing the things I love doing without it being frowned upon, because it is something that is far from somebody's concept of being. It is so true you always get so much more in return when you give to others. It's nice to break out of the social shell and actually do things you didn't think you could, always wanted but never thought it would matter or felt stupid about it. It does matter and it does make a difference to one person at a time, and mostly it makes a difference to me and that is priceless.
It's amazing what you can do when you really plug into things, are present at every moment, instead of wishing to be somewhere else, no walls to put up or tear down, just simply be.
I have been officially banned by my peers to wear a certain pair of jeans...woo hoo....still wear it for weekly weigh-ins, but not out anywhere else....reason being that they are just falling of me. Well being happy about that I also had a sobering experience today at the clothing store,  despite the successes over the last two years, the scars and damages done to my own self by myself are undeniable and very visual and well lets just say I won't ever go skinny dipping nor chunky dunking for that matter. It's sad but well it is what it is and at parts unrepairable. Oh well, just one more thing to accept and learn to live with.
Today marks also the end of the winter session at work and that end couldn't come soon enough. Whatever happens after March break is written in the stars and I won't find out until then, doesn't look very promising as for the programs but that doesn't worry me too much, as spring is just around the corner, hopefully, and with the continuation of the old position at the DSC at the LONG EAR boutique and a new position with new challenges, it sure will make for a fun and interesting season. I am also keeping my fingers crossed for being able to do my chosen position for Donkey Day, I mean I know I got it, but I just want to make sure too that it is where they need me to be. After all, it's all about making the most money in a short day of activities. So we will see. Either way, it really doesn't matter to me, one position will just be much more fun than the other, but in the other one I will know what to expect and what to do, either way it will be a day to remember.

Oh, Girl, I know what you mean about no more skinny dipping - no matter what I weigh anymore - that is not going to happen at all, stuff has slid! Congrats on the baggy jeans! I would be doing a happy dance, myself.
Also happy that you had a good week!

Have a great weekend!
