If it does nothing else, it does at least that!

Like with a lot of things in my life, if I am not in the right state of mind of doing something, then that usually means I won't have fun doing it, and therefore loose quick interest or even the drive to do it. Exercise is no exception to that sentiment, but I also know that if exercise does nothing for me but relief stress as it has in the past, then it is doing something good for me. So I have made a renewed commitment to exercising in my little basement gym on a regular basis, at least 4 times a week. Plus taking two Zumba classes a week, so that should help a little bit. It really is all about attitude towards things and well some music that makes you want to move is sure a incentive to get up and get down to the basement. So here is all I need to get my plan in action....

my i pod shuffle

with a great playlist

a treadmill

and my finally fixed elliptical trainer

I have been doing this since Wednesday and I feel so much better already.....hope the feet can handle it this time. lol

GOOD FOR YOU! Now it's just getting to the basement. Best to do before you eat and have time to change your mind! LOL! Yes exercising does make a person feel better. I have been working on that myself, not to such an extent, I am just trying to build up stamina, for a start, and it is difficult when you can't breathe.

Yep, gotta have that music!

You're a better woman than I am, Tina. Just looking at those machines wears me out. Glad to hear that you have the drive to exercise. It can do you nothing but good.

I don't recognize anything on your Ipod. Yes, I take my Ipod to a local gym. Mike and I don't get there as often as we should, but at least 3 times a week. Yes, I always feel better once I workout but I HATE working out, always got better things I want to do. Good luck, let us know how it's going.

Sharon- you are so right I have to do it first thing in the morning because otherwise I just don't feel like it. I am glad it works for you too trying to get your stamina up. But I can imagine that it is hard with your breathing...but good for you for doing it anyway.
Joan- you will....just remember baby is that bike of yours?
Louise- well I do have the drive right now, and I have to take full advantage of that feeling, because you just never know how long it lasts with me. Could be over by next week lol.
Joanne- mostly, well all of it are songs from my Zumba classes, it's all latin dance music and hip hop, which makes it great to work out to in a cardio way. It's just music with that you just can't stand still and have to move. Wow going to the gym three times a week, that's awesome. I am a little bit intimidated with those weight machines, I do have a small weight equipement too, but so far have not really used it. Boo hoo!!
