The poorest of all creatures!

Usually when I am in a pissed off mood than it is so much easier for me to say and do what I really want to say and do, and well today is one of those days, and you better watch out because I am out in full force today....I was debating long and hard with myself if I should publish this on my blog, but after seeing too many of these and coming across another amazing rescue this  morning in Crete, and the plight of these creatures there, I decided to post this....I realize these are poor countries and they mostly can't look after themselves as it is, and the donkeys have a different purpose over there than they have here, but I am sure this is not what GOD intended for them. I don't care who you are, what your circumstances, your own plight, this is unacceptable in any case. Well just my opinion, but this is my blog so I can say what I want and feel. Just a heads up....very graphic pictures....

Warning the following video shows very graphic pictures.

Things like this, happen all over the world. It's such a shame, the abusers will see their reckoning!

I hear you Melodie, when I went to the Farm today, I gave everybody a big hug and a kiss. I love those creatures so much, and I can't imagine how anybody can ever hurt or mistreat them. I love your Bonnie and Clyde, they are so adorable, so cute and smart.

Thanks Tina for posting this. The more people that see what donkeys have to endure, the more people are educated.
I do have to say that lack of common sense will never cease to amaze me. One doesn't have to be rich or dirt poor, common sense is plain and simple, common sense.
I read an article awhile ago about a veterinarian somewhere in a Third World country that treated horses and donkeys. One villager brought his donkey to the vet complaining that the donkey wouldn't walk right. After examining the donkey the vet found a stone lodged into the frog. After removing the stone, he told the villager to take his shoe off and hand it to him. The villager did, the vet put the stone into the mans shoe, told him to put it on and when the man did, the vet jumped on the mans back and told him to walk. After a few steps the man said it hurt too bad to walk because of the stone in his shoe. The vet jumped off, looked at the man and said, " Now you know how your donkey feels!".
Plain and simple, it something hurts a person, then it does in fact hurt and animal!
Sorry, I get on my soap box when it comes to animals.

I am with you on that one Cindy, and yes the lack of common sense is just incredible in a lot of people. They are just too concerned with themselves to see what goes on around them.
