On the way to my new job!

Woo hoo....well when this opportunity showed up in my email, it didn't really take me long to make up my mind and apply, and I pretty much knew too that I would get it. I was willing  to give up my Wednesday program for the next six weeks session with the city, but as it turns out I didn't give up anything, because we didn't have enough kids registered to run the program, so that kind of worked itself out nicely, and in six weeks all the programs will be finished as it is.  I will have to be there an hour early today to receive training before the LONGEARS BOUTIQUE and the Welcoming Centre open. I am still not sure where I am going to be placed this morning and that is a little bit nerve wrecking, because I am a "need to know" kind of girl. I don't like to walk into things totally blind and have things sprung on me at the last minute, but I am sure it will be fine either way. Working at the boutique will be from 10-4 and at the welcome centre from 11-3, I really don't care what I do, this is definitely not something I do for the money, that is just an extra bonus, but hey I know it will not really leave the DSC anyway, so just pay me in merchandise. lol...omg wait til you see all the donkey stuff in the store, I can't wait to take pictures lol....I will have to think long and hard to decide what I want, well what I want won't be hard to figure out, what I will get that's more the issue at hand. I know there is a really nice watercolour painting, one of the volunteers did, and it's one of the donkeys from the farm, it is really beautiful, but first of all it is pricey and second I really don't have much wall space at my house anymore, even some of my cross stitch pictures just sit on the floor in frames, because there is no space to hang them. Oh well, there are plenty of other things to choose from. There definitely is also a t-shirt I really really love, oh talk about t-shirt, this is my new staff shirt, which I will wear proudly.
So wish me luck as I embark on this new and fun adventure.....

With all of the training you have at home this will be a bonus to be paid for what you do. Best Wishes for the day.

The best job in the world is one that doesn't feel like work. I hope you have a great day, cool to have your own shirt!
