Another beautiful day!

Well yesterday was just like the days before, absolutely gorgeous and
fun. I got to spend the morning with a great friend and we had a great time, first having coffee at one of my favourite places and then she took me to some really neat stores, and we were in knickknack heaven, wow, I have heard of the one store so many times before and I had received a few items from there as gifts, but never been there, and from the moment you walk in there is just things to look and oooo and aahhhh over all over the place, there is a constant "did you see that?" or "look at this" bantering going back and forth between people in there, so many neat things, candles, decorations, soaps, pictures, purses, hooks etc, absolutely incredible and well it would have been easy to say, I take this and I take that if my pocketbook wasn't so thin right now. Most of the items are very unique and also very country and simple, just absolutely loved everything in the store. I definitely have to do some saving to get a few of the items there, I really fell in love with some of the necklaces there, very different and neat. I will definitely be back in there very soon with cash in hand lol. It's not about needing anything, it's more about I would like to have, if you know what you mean. On the way home we stopped at a new store on one of the mainstreets, the store wasn't any bigger than my livingroom, but omg so many things, so unique and some very eccentric and oh so beautiful. The array of colours was just amazing and it was fun browsing through  all the items. And at every turn you found something more different. Really nice! It was really a nice morning and I have really missed doing stuff like this with my friend, and hopefully we can do a few little roadtrips soon, and maybe some bigger ones in the summer lol..hint hint...you know the one past the gigantic flag, that is if we take the wrong cut off. he he he.....
I spend the afternoon acutally sitting outside soaking up some sun, I always have a been one for spending a lot of time in the sun and it is still hard for me at times to remember the necessary precautions and the wisdom of not getting too much sun as it can be hazardous to your health, and even though my dad passed away  from skin cancer, it find it hard to change that habit. I will try to make a conscious effort this time around to be more sun safe, as I have to make a few conscious efforts in some other aspects of my life too. Well we will see….my intentions are always good…it’s the follow through with things that needs  help.

I love stores like that. They are so much fun :o)

The sun has been shining here and the milder weather has been so nice!

I'm so jealous that you have donkeys. I've always wanted one. They are so adorable and sweet :o) When we had horses we almost got one. It's nice to hear that you give them wonderful homes.

Thanks for visiting my Blog :o)

I also love stores like that. My fav are antique shops. So much history in them. But sadly due to the economy most of the antique stores around here are gone now. It sounds like you had a most wonderful day. Hope you have another one real soon.
