The Weekend

Well Saturday I returned into the man cave from hell, my son's room, I knew there were gonna be repercussions to treading into his "holy" place and rearranging things, well not rearranging, but truly just picking up things and putting them where they belong. And I am not talking about his personal private things, more just clean laundry, dirty laundry, papers, empty boxes etc. So nothing really was touched that isn't touched by me anyway, after all I still do the laundry in this household. I spend most of the day doing laundry, dusting, vacuuming, folding and putting laundry away properly, running up and down the stairs from the second floor to the basement about 100 times I was exhausted by mid afternoon. And of course as soon as the prince of the domain came home, there was hell to pay, didn't say a word to me, but I could hear the mumbling of discontent coming from his room, oh well....suck it up! I mean I shouldn"t have to clean up the room of a 21 year old to begin with, but there is only so much I can handle too in messiness and his room by far goes over even my tolerance level. So once in a blue moon I just brave the wrath of Pierce and venture in it, no matter what.
Sunday was a quite day, I spent most of the afternoon stitching on a new donkey picture, the moose is on hold for now, because I commited myself to have at least two donkey things done for Donkey Day in June, so I better get cracking. I surfed the net for a while Sunday morning and came across a few new donkey cross stitch patterns, which I could download from the net for mininal charge, and one happened to actully be a picture courtesy of the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada, so I thought I make that my first project, it's not a very colourful picture, actually a little drab for my liking but it is one of their donkeys. And he is beautiful! I am also not quite sure yet if I leave them as picture or do something else with them, depending what would be more useful for raising money. I will have to consult my dear buddy Jane for that, I am sure she knows what would be best, she always does.
