Kids do say the darnedest things

Working with little kids all the time, you come across a lot of things, you sure weren't expected at that given moment, and sometimes it is hard to keep a straight face and not burst out laughing at what they say. In the last few weeks we had a couple of incidents like that, e.g one of the little girls trying to tell us, in total despair over her mom leaving with teary eyes and a shaky voice, while trying to catch a breath, that this was her happy face or like yesterday when I caught one of the little boys holding on to his private part and asking him if he had to go to the bathroom and his big brother piped up.."oh no, he holds his p**** all the time, that is just a bad habit he has", and I am thinking ok, that's more than I really care to know. So there is never a dull moment with the kids at work or even the kids, wanna be grown ups, at my house. Oh the joy of kids.....what was I thinking?
