It's about me

Well yesterday I did a lot of things that I can't really afford right now, but with my laissez faire and "I don't care" attitude, I went ahead and did them anyway, not exactly smart on my part, but again "I don't care", it always works itself out in the longrun and what's another hundred bucks or a little more on the creditcard, frankly I don't care, I pay it, I always have and always will, sometimes it's easier than other times, but this time it's for me and only me, well and a few little things for some special people in my life, but mostly today was about me, there will be two things I will take care of from now on, and that's my donkeys and me. In the morning I ordered the patterns for three cross stitch projects, then I ordered a few things from my favourite charity in support of them, and in the afternoon, I went to Flim Flam, which is closing the doors, to find some treasures in their huge sale. Everything is at least 25% off, some items even more. I purchased a few beautiful calendars for 2010, one Moose Christmas Ornament, a small moose stone plate and my newest priced possession...awww not revealing that one yet..... ( you hush Jayne...psst). Just know it's cute as a button and it shall be called "Sable".
So that was my exciting shopping day, I had fun and no regrets, and I can't wait to get the stitching stash in the mail and all the other goodies. Woo hoo.....something to look forward to in the next week or so. I will keep you posted!

there is something to be said about having "ME" days. Everyone need them once in a while. I have a hard time remembering a day that wasn't a "ME" day lately...So selfish of "ME" but hey, that's the way the stitch crosses.

I don't call giving to ourselves what preserves our sanity selfish. We need to look after us alone, nobody else does it for you, and I am out for me and what is important to me, not hurting anybody in the meantime, just giving to myself what I need and want
