Tuesday nights at work have been really stressful the last few weeks, it is just way too busy and impossible to keep everybody happy, but as a good customer service person I try my best and sometimes there are just people that have a attitude, things are way out of my control what goes on, I can't say how many people show up, I can't control if you guys like each other or not, and some people just need to leave their personal stuff at home, afterall this is a time to come out, enjoy social time with people and have fun. But some need to make it something that it's not. So last night I had an incident with one of the repeat customers, she has been really a bitch from the start, but me and my good heart, I take her in strives and even though most of the others don't like her, which I totally understand why, I made it my job to be nice to her and like always I treat everybody the same and she got the same courtesy from me, but yesterday I just had enough and she crossed the line with one of the other players and totally went against our rules of fair play. So I called her on it, tried to take her to the hallway, not to make a spectacle out of it in front of others, but as she refused to come with me, I had no choice but to call her on it in the middle of the program. After I made my points with her, she just started being totally defensive and offensive with me and then totally ignored any thing I told her will happen if she doesn't calm down. Well, so I did it, was mighty proud of myself and most of the others were quite happy to see her go. We don't tolerate verbal abuse of other players or staff. So that was the end of her night. She has been rubbing people for years the wrong way, and I always have been nice and courteous to her, disregarding everybody else's comments about her, but yesterday I just couldn't be nice anymore. I am totally sticking to my philosophy of learning about people(" I don't like you, therefore I must get to know you better to understand you") and I know she had a rough life and not everything is rosy in it, but you know that doesn't give you the right to be like that to other people, we all have our own stuff, we all have our own stories that made us who we are, but still we have the obligation to treat others with respect and common decency.
On a happier note, one of the guys who became a father again at the age of 45 brought in his little angel to show her of. 10 weeks old and an absolute sweetie, no actually she is beautiful. So I got my baby fix when I got to hold this precious, perfect, little beauty. Thanks T.It was amazing to watch your eyes every light up every time you looked at her. What a proud daddy.
