For the past week I have been filling in at a different centre for the preschool program and as I was there today to work, my "new" supervisor came and talked to me about the night he heard I had yesterday. And he told me that my other supervisor from that centre kind of wanted his advise for how to handle this situation, well I just told him, that she has been spoken to a few time that this wasn't the first incident apparently and that she had been banned from the centre before because of being verbally abusive to staff. So he agreed with me that it would have been more difficult to handle if it was someone's first and only every displayed misbehaviour, but obviously there has been a pattern with different staff members. So I am sure she will get spoken too from higher up and maybe even banned again for a few weeks of coming to the programs. I mean it takes a lot for me to get rattled up over things and complain or say anything, but there are certain things I just won't tolerate and I reported it. Only to find out today, that another staff member, who is in temperament just like me, had a similar incident with her the week before. And the supervisor was quite pleased that we reported our incidents.
I just don't understand why some people have to act like that, we are all there for one thing to have fun, so why let childish behaviour and dislike of others get in the way, why bother coming out if you don't have nothing nice to say to anybody, because you don't like anybody or everybody has done you wrong and you are just complaining, what the purpose of that. Can't be fun for that person either.
I understand that I don't have to like everybody nor has everybody to like me, but we are all human beings and need to be treated as such with respect and decency. No one is better than the other, we are all the same.
