Everybody loves Joey
Joey is one of the newest donkeys we have taken in at the DSC this year. How long we will have him, is not certain yet, as he came in a very neglected state and the signs of neglect are obvious in his body composition. So hopefully we can give him some comfortable days, weeks, hopefully months with us. He certainly is showered with love by everybody he meets and he deserves every ounce of it. He is a very curious and friendly donkey, who loves people and the attention he is getting. He is a very handsome boy and loves to give donkey kisses. Of course we are all hoping for the best while being cautiously optimistic.

OH what a cute and sweet donkey. I am sorry he's been so neglected but I hope he can have a good and comfortable life now that he is in your care. With the love and care who knows... he just might beat the odds. Good luck Joey!
What a sweet face! Yep, I am included in the everybody. Hopefully he'll make a turnaround with everyone's love and care.
