G stands for Goals!

Goals! Wow that is kind of a totally new concept for me and how sad is that? I mean we all have goals and dreams but when they don't seem to be in our reach of ever grasping, they certainly loose their power really fast. I read this quote one day on somebody's'blog and it really made me sad but it was so true for me at that point, I didn't know what I wanted or what really was important to me. " The tragedy of
life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goals to reach." (Benjamin Mays). Goals don't have to be big, goals don't have to be something amazing, they can be small successes to achieve that form a bigger picture. Some goals are easier to obtain than others, but as long as you keep trying and doing, who knows, you might even reach your bigger goals.  Nowadays  I have goals, and it  sure has been fun to be on the road to achieving these goals.
"If you have a goal in life that takes a lot of energy, that requires a lot of work, that incurs a great deal of interest and that is a challenge to you, you will always look forward to waking up to see what the new day brings." (Susan Polis Schultz)

Goals are good, but sometimes it is the pathway to the goal that is more meaningful than attaining the goal itself..xx

So agree with you...its all about the road to a goal...the goal is just a reward to all your hard work and the obstacles you overcame...

Goals can be any size you want... I have huge goals, (writing a book, losing 100+ pounds), but look at it another way, making sure the dishes are put away is a goal, too! And to a husband that has a neat fetish, uh, likes a neat house, that's an important goal, too, if not so all consuming. But if all else fails, look at your dreams. Goals generally start there...
