February already?

Wow, I can't believe that January is already past and gone, how time flies when you are having fun. I have accomplished a few things that I had set out to do, e.g. I have not set foot into a mall or store, other than the grocery store, so money stayed in my pocket, well not really but it went to pay down some money on my credit card. Woo hoo! The challenge started with week 3 this morning and so far so good. I have made it through a few difficult moments by staying strong and remembering what it is all for and that nothing good can come from stuffing my face to not feel the feelings, so I just sit sometimes or do things to make that feeling pass. I don't ignore it I just let it take it's natural flow. My attitude has changed regarding a few things and well I will deal with things as they come up and not worry about them until they do, which is really huge for me, and I wish I could apply this to all aspects of my life, but like some good friends of mine always say...baby steps or "not  yet". Life is really so much more  enjoyable when you just take one day at a time and not worry about tomorrow or things down the road, because for all you know tomorrow might not even ever come. With the beginning of February come a few extra hours at work, plus some more thanks to my P.I.C  giving up her share. Some decisions for the summer have been  made already and I am happy with my choices and even am willing to compromise a little. But I haven't told anybody yet. LOL! Even though it is Tuesday, and even though I worked this morning the plan to go to the DSC fell through mainly because I wasn't feeling that great today, so now I am sitting in a warm house and wait with great anitipation the big snow storm, I would laugh my head of if it would turn out like the big freezing rain day that we were suppose to have a few weeks ago, that never came. But well snow is snow and after all it is still winter and we do live in Canada, so what do you expect?

I don't mind cold as long as there's snow to go with it! It's awful grey, cold & miserable here. xxx

I seriously doubt that I ever purchase anything from a Mall again. I buy most of my clothes (lightly used) off ebay. Mostly denim or knit stuff.
