Let down feeling!

So today is the first Wednesday since May that I am not going to the DSC, I could if I didn't have to go back to my "real "job, but  it would be in a different role again as it was the last couple of month. I kind of have the typical "let down feeling" that I usually get after a big event is over, something you worked all year towards for and then it is over in the blink of an eye and it feels kind of weird to not have to think about the day ahead in the DSC capacity. I feel a little bit lost and not sure what to do with myself, not that my life has changed, but just the things on your mind go in different directions now. It will be the first time in a long time that I will be only there once a week, now that just doesn't feel right to me. And my next visit up there won't be until Sunday when I have a meeting to attended to wrap up the Open Day season as per Boutique and Welcome Centre, and ideas for next year, and I am actually looking forward to it. I still trying to get all my things in order in my head about the last couple of month, reflecting on the good and the bad, the fun and the sorrow, the things I am very proud of and the things I could have done better. There are still two more things to attend that will be a stretch for me, and maybe it really is time for me to take the confidence that others have in me and run with it. Yikes!!!! Oh my head is just spinning with thoughts in every possible direction, that will take a while to sort them all out and work through them, while trying to stay afloat with all the other thing that are going on in my life right now....arrrrggghhhh! Still searching for the button to shut my brain of once in a while lol, still haven't found it yet. Well I better get going, in the complete opposite direction today, but I am going....enjoy your day and the last rays of sunshine.

It is hard making transitions, and I hope your's goes smoothly. Spring will be here before you know it!

Oh, if you find that button to turn off your brain -- tell me where it is! I will lie in bed grinding on something because it won't turn off!

Things will settle - I hope.

I know the feeling, it's like when company leaves, after working so hard on cleaning and cooking, or something you have worked on for ages is finally finished.

Well, knowing you (I think) there will be projects to get finished and others to start and before you know it, it will be Spring and time to be with those sweet donkeys again!

a let down feeling is when you want to go on a road trip and someone has to work. Going alone just aint the same

Oh, I know, I get the same feeling when the track shuts down for the Season. But, experience has taught me that the rest actually does me good, charges up the old batteries, and gets me ready for when the track opens again in April.
