I owe I owe so off to work I go!

This week is the official start of back to work...only there is not really  much to go back to, looks like the programs running pretty spars but that has so much to do with cost and the full day kindergarten classes that have been implemented by this Government for this school year. Personally I think that makes a long day for the kids at such a young age, but I guess they are thinking more about the parents and what to do with their kids, when both have to work to have a somewhat life and be able to pay the high taxed bills of living in this province. Oops did I just say this out loud? I usually don't get political at all, but I have seen our bills for the last months, and they are just outrageous. So, it looks like we are only running two programs during the week, maybe just one, not sure yet, as I am not too concern with Wednesdays right now as I am still working at the DSC till October. I am just happy and appreciative to have a boss who lets me do this and understands, but it was just a chance for me, even back in May, when there was a chance of having to give up 6 weeks of programs then, that I didn't want to pass on, on the count of a "maybe we are running, maybe we are not". I am glad I followed my heart once again. I had an awesome summer and looks like it will be a busy and amazing fall too. So I will take the few hours I have of evening supervision and the odd Saturday hours and I will make do with that, as my time will be occupied with all kinds of things during the next few weeks till Christmas so I definitely won't be turning into a couch potato but will have to remove the rust of some of my brain cells and get them working again as I embark on this new adventure of learning. Woo hoo! Which I am really excited about but also intimidates the crap out of me. Oh well I will muddle myself through this one too somehow, I hope at least...and if not...who cares.....it's all about trying, right?
As for today I will get things set up on the PC for studying, go toy shopping ( which really makes me more excited than anything as I am shopping for donkey toys lol) and maybe even get a coffee break at my favourite coffee pub before heading to work tonight....Enjoy your day!

Interesting to hear that taxes are as outrageous in Canada as they are in the US. Louise sighs as she thinks of her school tax bill, sitting in her desk waiting to be paid.

Tell me about it. Just got our tax bills in the mail last week. I took a few days to open them, just sort of preparing myself.
We send our daughter to an independent school and it makes me so mad to have to pay our huge school taxes, still.
