Here is your sign!

Where has the summer gone? With the end of August in sight,  signs  of summer ending are around every corner I turn.
Here are some signs that one can't ignore and they all signify the end of summer...
1. The Parks and Recreation Leisure Guide showed up at my house last week......sign it's time to get ready for work again...can't believe that those 2 3/4 months off are almost over.....boo hoo!  Time to start program planning.:(

2. The Toronto Exhibition( C.N.E.) starts today, that is definitely a huge sign. The Exhibition is one of North America's biggest largest annual fairs, that offers something for everybody, amusement rides, parade, air show, games, food, concerts, performances and special events.
(I have been to the Ex only once and haven't lived in Canada yet, so must have been at least 25 years ago, I only remember that the Air show was spectacular but omg so loud, and really have no desire to visit again)

3. Commercials on TV advertising "back to school" specials, (This is one of my favourite commercials) and stores packed with back to school necessities.

4. Stores showing off the newest  Fall Fashions for 2010.

Time passes way to fast when you are having fun.

Still way too hot around here, but you are right, it is 40F in the mornings when I wake up. A good sign for me who is longing for winter!

What a fantastic advert!!! I can still remember the dread of coming to the end of the school holidays. I'm so looking forward to autumn now though. xxx

Inger-How is winter where you are? Nothing compares to a canadian winter lol...
Tracey- As much as I am not looking forward to going back to work and have all that stress , I am looking forward to autumn too. Especially the drives up to the farm are always the most beautiful at that time of the year....can't wait.- Tina

I'm ready for Fall. I love the beauty, and the preparations for winter. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is all of the leaves falling.

I am looking for Fall - can't handle any more of this heat! Yes, signs that it WILL end are all over the place, fruit ripening, allergies, spider webs in the trees, even the bugs sound different at night!

yes, school started for us last week.
We don't get a winter here-it snowed for about 20 minutes last year and it was the first snow since 1978.
