Rough Day

Yesterday I had a really rough day, seems like the day dragged on forever too, I got a few little things accomplished in the morning before heading down to Lake Erie to spend some time with J., boy I sure needed that one and it definitely wasn't pretty, oh well, she was seen me at my worst, and yesterday came pretty close to being there, even though we got in some laughs when I told her about the days on the Farm over the last few weeks. She always loves to hear about them, after all she is the one who steered me into the direction of the DSC. Besides some laughter there were also a lot of tears and tons of questions and no answers, or at least no answers I am willing to accept yet. Go figure. Seems like all I ever do is put band aids on, which eventually have to come of and the wounds are still there, which is totally driving me nuts. Oh well, I get over it...I always do...but so tired of thinking like that. One good thing about yesterday though, I was looking for some new pants, and I hate shopping for pants, and I found some I was very happy with and to my surprise I had to get them a size smaller than my usual size, not really sure why, because I am still a few pounds away from where I was at last year, but somehow my body must have changed, well I could have actually squeezed into two sizes down, but that would just be too uncomfortable and I am all about comfort.  So having a positive shopping experience  made me happy for a moment.

Smaller size? I would guess is from all the walking and working you a-- off at the DSC! It's firming you up and what may have been fat is now muscle, muscle weighs more than fat. All the work you do and the steps - you will be smaller again in a month or two! Yeah!

Band aids are better than letting it bleed all over......

Oh that happened to me too after we moved to the farm...I still weigh about the same but my waist shrunk! I have bigger muscles than I used too so maybe that is why there was no drop in weight?

Hope you figure out what path to take on healing!

Glad you went to talk to a friend. We all need a listening ear now and then. I hope that things get better for you.

Sigh, I can't remember when I could get into a smaller size. Larger, yeh.

Buying pants a size smaller!! I can just imagine the smile you had on your face. Yay!!!! With all the work and walking you do at the DCS, well, it's no wonder you are buying smaller size clothes.
Bandaids, yes, they help stop the hurt for awhile. Maybe start taking the smaller bandaids off one by one over time. Then eventually you can face your 'demons' head on and be done with it. Whatever path you choose, choose the one that is working for you. Only you know YOU best! Hugs. :)
