Road Trip

Well it's not my usual way of operating, but I can adapt to some things quickly, and this was like a no brainer and well it didn't take any effort of twisting my arm at all when my friend call  the other morning to say we should go on a road trip. The question was only to where. But even that didn't take us long to figure out and we decided to take a drive up to one of the bigger craft stores in the region. Neither of us had ever been there so it sure was going to be fun. And that is sure was, lots to things to look at, to admire, to wish one could do them, lots of things to choose from and well a few little purchases were made. I finally found some scrap booking paper that I could use for my farm theme, I got a piece of Aida, because I just loved the colour of it, two strands of DMC floss and a little knitting book, with the thought of my MIL to hopefully knit me a few donkeys and sheeps, if I will ask nicely, for maybe next years craft sale on Donkey Day. And then I thought maybe I should ask our master knitter in the stitching group to maybe teach me how to do it myself, because well really the only thing I can knit is something that goes straight up like a scarf, that's pretty much all I can manage with my skills.
We took a little drive around town and then headed home with a stop at Mary Maxims in Paris, Ontario. I really liked a bag in there, but then omg I don't need another bag, but it was really pretty and I just loved the colour combination. But I decided strongly against it, even though it was on sale...damn as I am writing this my mind keeps saying "go back and get it" lol.

Sounds like fun! Road Trip AND Girls Day Out! I like the craft stores, usually buy something, I will never use, but it's fun anyway.

You better go back and get that bag. You know you'll regret it, if you don't. I get the feeling that you don't splurge often. So, you owe it to yourself!

Louise-I splurge enough....but you know you are right I might regret it, but then do I really need another bag? I already have a hard time which one I am taking from day to day lol....grrrrr.

From someone who has the nickname, "The Bag Lady", you really should go get the bag... That sounds like it would have been a great road trip, I will have to start planning an attack, um, a suprise to take my Mom on one of those...
