I feel lucky!

Do you believe in fate? Hmmmmm makes me starting to wonder, but I don't want to get the hopes up too high, but it would just be totally awesome and amazing. As mentioned in a previous post, we, as a group, purchased a lottery ticket for Lotto Max for the Friday of the retreat, which was at 40 Million, checking numbers on Saturday morning, we had won nothing but one free ticket, which Peter gave to me to get a new ticket for us for the following Friday draw of 50 Million. Sunday morning I went for a hike early in the morning, before breakfast, I took my camera with me in the hope to catch some wildlife. I walked the same trail that I had walked the day before, I walked all the way to the beach and upon arriving there, I decided then to take the same way back to the house, instead of walking along the beach. As I got the the steep steps leading down to a wooden bridge I saw something running along the railing of the bridge and I couldn't figure out at first what it was, thankfully it stood still at the end of the railing and just sat there for a few seconds. I tried to focus my camera on the animal, but my heart was racing from just climbing a hill before getting to the stairs, that is was hard to focus, I felt like a biathlon athlete trying to hit the target, when I zoomed in close enough I saw that it was a white squirrel. So neat, never seen one before, and everybody you knows me knows I love squirrels so that was a treat for me. I was all excited about my picture and showed it to some of the girls when I got back to the house, and of course they all just chucked it up as being another squirrel picture lol. So today as I was thinking about posting some random pics from my hikes, I googled "white squirrels" and I found this...Of course I read up on the white squirrels too, they are not an albino but a genetic mutation and it is suppose to bring good luck if you see one.Well we will see lol. Keeping my fingers crossed and good luck to us all.
