I guess it's a good thing?

Oh boy, I sure am glad I have a sense of humour, and I definitely can poke fun of myself and can laugh when others poke fun of me, as long as it not in a hurtful manner. So the other day I am covering for my supervisor, I was enjoying a quite afternoon at the office, when I see a car pull into the parking lot, see this big guy get out of the car with an armful over papers, ok being me I got a little bit nervous, because I have no idea what he wants and maybe just maybe I don't have a clue about what he will be talking about...so he comes into the office, and asks when my supervisor will be back...phew.....easy question...I know the answer to that one and I say "Tuesday, May 4th." And then he starts blabbering about something I really have no clue about, the neighbour association, and how we need to set up a bank account and bla bla bla, well I must have had my puzzled look on, because he said to me " you don't have a clue what I am talking about, do you?" and you know what, if I don't know something I will be the first one to admit I don't know it, and with my cute little innocent shy smile ( which surprisingly still works at my age, and has gotten me out of many many uncomfortable situations when I was younger)  I said...." well you got that right" and he just laughed out loud and thought it was hilarious that I so proudly announced that I am clueless, well I could have been offended and thinking how dare you, but hey if the shoe fits, I am willing to wear it and I am not one to try to bs my way out of stuff just to look good, and in this case I really had no clue, because that is something I don't deal with whatsoever. He was still chuckling as the walked out the building back to his car....well glad I made somebody laugh today....job well done!

I was at a meeting  yesterday, and it was nice to find out that I don't look old enough to have 21 year old kids, woo hoo...I guess that is almost as good as my doctor telling me a few years ago that I don't look as heavy as I am.....I guess it's a good thing?
