Visiting a sick friend

Today I decided to pay a surprise visit to one of my old high school friends. She has been in and out of the hospital since January and met up with my dad a few times at the clinic during the last few months. She had an idea that I was in Germany but wasn't sure. It was nice to see her, she looked good, just feels a little frustrated and depressed about still having so many difficulties walking. We had a nice visit and I was glad that I took the time to visit her. I hope in time all her health problems with deminish and she will be able to do the things she loves to do again.
