Waking up not always an option

It's Sunday morning and I woke up, that from now on is just enough to celebrate every day, because it is not always an option, as we have learnt over the last day. Not sure what I should call her, she is more than an acquaintance but not as close as a friend.We have been neighbours, we worked together, we volunteered together and we spend plenty of time talking about our kids together, we been at each others house, we complaint together, we laughed together, we shared the friendship of our daughters together and the friendship of our boys, we had coffee together and always made plans for future get-togethers. Well I guess this is one that will never happen again. It's with great sorrow that I have to acknowledge that she has passed away last week. It came as a real shock, apparently she died in her sleep being found my her mother, after she failed to get in contact with her. She just turned 49 a few weeks ago. Another good one gone from our circle of parents that died way too young. She will be sadly missed, not just by her family but by all of us, and her contribution especially to the school life in our community will always be remembered.
