Looking through my big living room windows, it's a glorious beautiful day outside, a little bit on the chilly side ( -21 C), but the sun is shining, birds are actually singing, snow is glistening and the squirrels are trying to fight their way through the deep snow to the bird feeders and water bowl. I could actually sit here for hours and just watch all the activities in the backyard. The cardinals look more redder against the white snow than they usually do and over the last few days we had lots of them. Now this, and being inside a warm house, makes a cold winter's day enjoyable and beautiful.
