I have lived in Canada now just over 19 years and one would think I have gotten used to the Canadian Christmas Traditions by now, but this is one time of the year, I really miss the way things were and would give about anything to relive a German Christmas Eve.
In the beginning I tried to implement some of the things that made Christmas Eve so special for me and my family in Germany. But somehow it all got lost in Translation. So now here is to my 20th Christmas Eve the Canadian way.
