Today was a total day of joy and beauty, no pressure, no stress, no deadlines, no things that need to get done, it was just perfect. I think I deserved that day of peace and beauty. After dropping of the kids at the bustop and at school, I got on the road which lead me to Niagara Falls. I had been there any times in the spring and summer, but never on a cold sunny winterday. It was just glorious, not too many people, not a cloud in the sky, and the Falls were just magnificent.More beautiful than I have ever seen them at any other time The little island above the Canadian Falls was just beautiful, the mist from the falls and the cold air turned every little branch and bush into a wonder of ice. It was absoulutely stunning. The little parts of the Falls, where all frozen over and part of the river below was also frozen.
Despite the beautiful sunny day, it was really freezing cold.
