A dead donkey for Christmas

Sadly enough a renewal of sponsorship of Rosie was one of the Christmas presents for my son Alex, what we didn't know until Boxing day, was the our sweet angel Rosie has passed away on Christmas day after suffering, what seemed to be the same neurological disorder that took the life of her mom the year before, and while trying to get up, she had casted herself in the corner of the barn. Every effort was made by staff and our vet to save Rosie, but after noticing that she was paralyzed from the hip down, there was no other choice to make that to euthanize her. She was surrounded by love and caring people that held her softly until she was gone. I am so glad they were there for her. Rosie was an absolute sweetheart, her passing will be noticed by lot of people, as she was such a people donkey, full of mischief and sweetness. Her sponsorship will be transfered to her brother Meegers.

Rest in peace, my sweet Rosie.
 Rosie was 27 years old.

Sorry to hear that. I hope her brother does not have the disorder.
