PEOPLE WHO ARE VIOLENT TO ANIMALS RARELY STOP THERE!

It's been a week!

It's been a week since I have been out to the DSC and I am having major donkey withdrawal. I was suppose to go Tuesday afternoon after work, but for some odd reason I wasn't feeling that great and just wanted to curl up on the couch and do nothing. By Wednesday though I was in serious withdrawal and missed those sweet faces so much already, so today i am off to the farm, the weather is really crappy, but there are 60 cute faces waiting for me that turn the cloudiest day into a day full of sunshine no matter what. And too it's a chance to spend the whole day with Cate, as she is working over the holidays so that Adam and Chantal can have a week off. So there are two good reasons to go to the DSC today.  I am sure she will have plenty of things planned for us to do....so hope everybody will enjoy their day as I head of to see "my" donkeys.
Cheri took that picture of me a while ago, giving Solo a belly rub....look at his face....nose all crunched up, ears sideways, his lip going....all in pure pleasure. One should really video tape his facial expressions once, they are too cute. And when you stop he will follow you until you do it again and again and again. I am such a pushover when it comes to Solo.

Aw, they miss you when you are gone, just like you miss them! It has been a busy week though, with Christmas and all, glad you finally got a chance to get a donkey fix!

Your donkeys are so cute and they look so happy and friendly. I have never seen a donkey before, just in pictures or movies.

I hope you had a Happy Donkey Day! I know what you mean about donkey withdrawal. After the end of the racing meet, I didn't want to have anything to do with placement for a while. But, the itch is starting to come back. By the time the track opens up again in April, I'll be raring to go!
