I do stitch! Occasionally!

Well I feel bad, every time I think my blog is on a "stitching blog" list, because when you get here, it's mostly Donkeys you get, but I do the occasional stitching and this weekend has been of two days of  solid stitching, well almost. I have almost finished my "surprise" project and started a new one already again, well I should say restarted it, because I didn't like the fabric colour I had chosen for it, so yesterday I spent all day re-stitching what I had stitched on Saturday all day long and I am a little bit further ahead than Saturday evening, but not enough to show any real progress. Tonight I have to work for a few hours so hopefully I will get some time to stitch some more, but somehow I have the feeling work will be loaded with work, lol I guess as it should be.

I will have to frame my "singing donkey" this week as my friend will be arriving here in Canada on Friday and I will meet up with her on Sunday at the DSC. Can't wait. Cocoa will be so excited and happy.

I found this pattern the other day at the Stitching sister's LNS and thought it was cute, I am not crazy about the colours, but maybe I will be adventurous and change them, even though I am a straight by the book kind of person, and change throws me off big time! Can you tell I am a creature of habit and one for not much change? :)

I love it too. I hope you will post your finished creations. I have at least one unfinished pillow...maybe you will be my inspiration to finish it come winter. Too hot now.--Inger

You are so good at this stuff! I found a little thing I had started when my son was a baby, unfinished, with mouse pee on it. You can tell I don't stick with something when I am having trouble....

Cute little picture! I would take license and change the color, I am not "into" pink. ;-)
