Lately I have had the feeling I am surrounded by insensitive people, maybe I was expecting too much of them, maybe I was expecting compassion and understanding, but I guess I shouldn't have any expectations at all to begin with. So I took their remarks as their remarks and not taking them on as something against me. Doesn't mean they didn't hurt, or made me feel unloved and uncared for, but they just are what they are, their remarks. I am not offended by any remarks, I am just astonished by the thoughtless remarks that are made at times. I guess it shows who will support you and who doesn't. Well I guess I can count my family out.
