The 2011 Ornament-A-Month-Challenge
Ok, I did join the "2011 Ornament-A-Month-Challenge" on my own free will, to hopefully get motivated to do some more stitched ornaments this year. I am already feeling like the odd woman out, mostly because I am not a hardcore stitcher like most, well all of these women. I don't know how to finish projects properly, and it sure will be a challenge to finish an ornament each month, not from the stitching point, but from the finishing point. The stitching part of this month's ornament is already done, so no problem there, in my true style I picked an ornament that reflects my likings lol. I also put my own little twist into this challenge, as I was inspired by a fellow blogger by this idea and hopefully I can keep up with it and accomplish my endeavour. Won't reveal that twist until way later into the challenge. Surely it would be nice and helpful and it would make me feel good too. So here is to trying new things and messing a few things up along the way.

Sometimes people do see our mistakes in craft, like we think they do. You just don't point it out to them.. Like missing a stitch or two. I hope you are going to post pictures if your ornaments.

This finishing thing has been a topic with me lately. I came across the weekly 123 Stitch ad and they have Pine Mtn kits on sale. They come with the pillow etc already sewn together. All we have to do is stitch them and sew just a bit. Fabrics and finishes included!
It is only because I really do not know what you are talking about (being a non-stitcher) that I say...
