Today the "half blind" shall see again....

...or the continuation of the optical Sears commercial. Today we have an appointment with the eye doctor, to finally find out how vision impaired Pookie really is. I guess by now she has accepted the fact that she needs glasses and there is always the option of contacts. After having some heart to heart talk with Pierce's girlfriend Ashley, about glasses and driving she actually seems excited about the fact that it will help her. So now I will share what happened a couple of weeks ago that devastated her at that very moment but was actually kind of humorous because not too many people can say that happened to them. So she gets all excited about taking her G1 licence, we get there, we sit there for what seemed like hours to wait for her turn and then the big OUCH! Apparently, which kind of makes sense, she had to take a eye test before writing the test for the G1, mmmmm never mind worrying about failing the written test, who ever thought one would fail the eye test? lol....so that's what happened and she couldn't even write that test that day...oh well...I was a little mad at her too because I mean, didn't you not notice in school that you can't see a damn thing? Is your vanity that much more worth to you than seeing things clearly? I guess for a sixteen year old it is. So today she will have an eye appointment and then hopefully gets the paper written out for the licence bureau and she will be able to write the test before getting her glasses and I am wondering ....will you be able to see the questions on the test? lol Kids......they do the darnest things.

Glasses aren't so bad. Even for a 16 year old! There are very fashionable frames available. Besides, isn't it better to 'see' the world than not and miss something. You are so right....kids!!! :)
