This week.....

....Friday, the 13Th already, June is almost at the half way point again, honestly I don't know where the time goes, the hours just melt into days and days into weeks and the weeks into months.
Sometimes I miss the times with my friends that just make time stand still, or seem to make it stand still, when you so in the moment of the moment, that everything else fades into the background and nothing matters than the here and now. Funny that I can apply that to some moments but not to all yet. Some moments count more than others, and on some I can feast on for weeks and bask in the glory of them. Those are the moments I cherish the most, the ones that made time seem to stand still and are fully enjoyed to the very last second of it.
This week was filled with mostly nice moments, there were some ugly moments, but they are few and far in between. Wednesday I had a visit from a friend and we spend a nice morning together chatting and she crosstitched, that's one thing I have not really mastered yet...talking and crosstitching at the same time. lol. Oh god I hope that doesn't mean I did all the talking lol, that would be so totally out of character for me, or so I think and believe.
In the afternoon Pookie and I went to Hamilton, with the top down and enjoying the sun, to get some of her dance supplies for the year end show. Pookie doesn't like driving with the Jeep roof down, it gives her bad hair lol but I just think nothing better than the wind in your hair and the sun kissing your skin.
Thursday morning was clean up and tidy up time at work. I brought very much appreciated coffee for everybody and we worked like dogs, or was it that we watched our boss work while we just moved a few boxes...can't really remember now....well no matter what we got things done and were pleased with the end results and it didn't take long at all.
Stopped for a short visit at a friends house and then picked up Pookie from school to take her to Dress rehearsal at the Sanderson Centre...
...ooops just as I was writing this blog I got a phone call from A. from work, he asked me to come and pick up and take him to the Walk-In Clinic, he hurt his hand at work. So off I want to go, some guys came to fix the garage door, so I had to let them in and on their own and went and got A. We got to the Walk in Clinic, the waiting room was packed, but the girl at the reception waved us right over and we didn't have to take a number. Sometimes it's good to know people in low places, she took his info and we still had to wait for about an hour till it was his turn. They took x rays and we waited again for the results, everything looked ok and it was just badly bruised. So off we went home. Spend the rest of the afternoon doing laundry and the odd little clean up job....then the phone rang again, it was Urgent Care with the news from the Radiologist that two of his hand bones had a tiny break in it, so off we went again to get a temporary cast put on, until he can get an appointment at the Fracture clinic next week Thursday. Now everybody who knows me knows I am not one for Doctors, but he had Dr. S. and omg if I ever have to go to the Walk- in clinic I rather have him over any other doctor, he makes being sick almost fun. He has the best sense of humour and even though you are in pain and feel crappy you just can't help but feel better already when you get him, you could almost forget why you are there....and he is not hard on the eyes either....well from a woman's point of view. I don't think that worked for my son so lol...he kind of reminds me of a friend of mine, who in my eyes has the best sense of humour I have ever had the joy of experience in my lifetime.....(wink you know who you are)...but
anyway laughter is the best medicine to any ailment. So here I am back trying to finish this blog, sure didn't plan on spending a lot of time at the clinic, but life is full over instant changes and adjustments. So I guess that takes care of what happened on Friday of this week...
